Dear friends,
Like you, we could not have imagined the year that 2020 would be. As DSI celebrates our five year anniversary this month, we know that now more than ever, our world needs a better tomorrow. We are adamantly committed to making sure that the voices of people with disabilities are heard and that their valuable lives are supported and included in this.
As we look back on 2020, we reflect with gratitude on what we have been able to accomplish. Covid-19 added a new set of complications to a familiar set of critical needs within the disability community, and stepping up to address them required us to adapt and change with agility and creativity.
We also look forward with hope that we can truly learn from these challenging times and create the better, more just, equitable, loving, and joyful world we envision.
On behalf of our DSI team, thank you for being an integral part of our mission at DSI. We would not be celebrating five years of success, growth, and impact today without all of you who share this mission with us. We wish you peace, health and all the very best to come throughout 2021.
